Skiing and Snowboarding in Sölden

		Sölden - the Full Force of Winter The World Cup town is one of the most well-known skiing and snowboarding regions in Europe. The large range of pistes on offer of all difficulty levels and the excellent slope preparation of the 150 km of pistes helps to create pure, unique winter sports pleasure. Modern ski lifts capable of carrying 68,000 people per hour guarantees easy transport to the mountains without queues.
		Pistes 63 km of red, 53 km blue and 28 km black slopes as well as 6 km of skiing routes rounds up a diverse range of activities, from simple facilities for beginners on the Giggijoch right up to the variety of demanding pistes on the Gaislachkogl mountain. The Gaislachkogl (3,058 m) is also also popular with those who want to take a tour through the slopes without their skis.
		Absolute Snow Guarantee from November to March due to the altitude of the skiing region (1,350 - 3,250 m), 2 glacier skiing regions on the Rettenbach and the Tiefenbach Glaciers, artificial snow-making machines on all ski-runs below 2,200 m.
		The Big 3 With the "BIG 3", Sölden is the only skiing region in Austria with three 3,000 m summits which are connected by ski lifts. The "BIG 3 Rally" not only leads to all three summits, but through the whole skiing region.
		Sölden Stands for Pure Winter Sports! Giggijoch Boarders Park, Race Course, Easy Cross or mogul slopes - the opportunities to make the most of this fantastic skiing region are endless! The normal winter skiing region is connected to both glacier ski regions by the "Golden Gate to the glacier" ski lifts, so that you can easily get to the glaciers at an altitude of up to 3,250 m from the town. From the "Schwarze Schneid" on the Rettenbach Glacier the longest ski-run, around 12.8 km long with an altitude difference of 1,880 m, leads you into the valley. The skiing trail through the Rettenbach Valley (6 km) is an insider's tip for all skiing fans.
		Ski Lodges The 20 mountain lodges and restaurants offer an inviting atmosphere for a break after skiing - from the quaint mountain huts to the modern, large restaurants - let your après ski start before you leave the mountain!
